Provider Relations Representative

At BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina, we are looking for a motivated Provider Relations Representative to join our team and help us maintain strong relationships with providers. This position requires excellent communication skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to think strategically. The successful candidate will have a passion for helping others and be able to work independently and collaboratively. To be successful in this role, you must possess a minimum of two years experience in provider relations or a related field, a Bachelor's degree in a related field, and a valid driver's license. You should have excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, as well as an ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Responsibilities:

Establish and maintain positive relationships with providers.
Act as a liaison between BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina and providers.
Negotiate and manage contracts with providers.
Provide guidance to providers on policy and compliance standards.
Develop and execute strategies to increase provider network participation.
Monitor provider performance and provide feedback.
Investigate and resolve provider concerns.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure quality care.
Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and laws.
Maintain accurate records of all provider interactions.
