Claims Processor

Job description

We’re looking for a customer-oriented Claims Processor to join the team at BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina. In this role, you’ll act as an advocate for customers by ensuring accurate and timely processing of claims. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of medical terminology and have a passion for providing excellent customer service. If you have the knowledge and experience necessary to excel in this role, we’d love to hear from you! To be considered for this position, you must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and have at least one year of experience in claims processing. Preference will be given to applicants who have experience in a medical office setting as well as knowledge of medical coding and billing. In addition, you must have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and be a problem solver who can think outside the box. You must also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
